Fixed Prepositions – English  अधिकतर क्रियाएँ ऐसी होती हैं जिनके साथ अलग अलग Prepositions का प्रयोग किया जा सकता है। यह इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि हम बोलना क्या चाहते हैं। जैसे – मैं घर जा रहा हूँ। I am going home. (“Go” के साथ कोई Preposition नहीं लगा।) मैं स्कूल जा रहा हूँ। I am going to school. (“Go” के साथ to का प्रयोग हुआ।) मैं रवि के साथ जा रहा हूँ। I am going with Ravi. (“Go” के साथ with का प्रयोग हुआ।) मैं टहलने जा रहा हूँ। I am going for a walk. (“Go” के साथ for का प्रयोग हुआ ।) मैं एक अखबार पढ़ रहा हूँ। I am going through a newspaper. Prepositions वे शब्द या शब्दों के समूह होते हैं जो किसी संज्ञा या सर्वनाम व वाक्य के दूसरे भाग के बीच के सम्बन्ध को दर्शाते हैं। अक्सर इन्हें किसी संज्ञा या सर्वनाम से पहले लगाया जाता है। Prepositions are words or groups of words, often placed before a noun or a pronoun to express its relation with the other part of the sentence. From (से) 1 . किसी जगह से (From some place): मैं देहरादून से आ रहा हूँ। I am coming from Dehradun. वो जिम से आया और मैं ग्राउन्ड से आया। He came from the gym and I came from the ground. पानी गिलास से मत गिराओ। Don’t spill water from the glass. तुम किस स्कूल से आये हो?
