  Answer the following questions in not more than 30 words each : 1)  Question 1 How long did the narrator plan his voyage to last? Answer The narrator planned his uoyage round-the-world on the same pattern as Captain James Cook had done 200 years earlier.   Question 2 How did they celebrate the Christm, holidays?  Answer: The narrator and his family were 35 km east of Cape Town on Christmas day. Despite the bad weather, they celebrated Christmas nicely with a Christmas tree on the boat.  Question 3 What sort of wave hit the ship?
