 Short Answer Type Questions Answer the fallowing questions. Questions 1 Why was it difficult for Aram the sight of his cousin Maurad with the beautiful white horse?

Ans- It was difficult for Aram to believe the sight of his cousin Mourad with beautiful white, horse, because mourad was belong to a poor and honest tribe so he could neither buy nor steal the horse

Question 2- what did John byro tell Aram’s mother and uncle Khosrove when he got his horse back? 

Ans- John Byro told Aram's mother and Uncle Khosrove that his horse was stronger than ever and better tempered when he got the horse back.

Question 3 What feeling did the sight of cousin Mourad and the horse arouse in the narrator?

Ans- the narrator stared first at his cousin and then at the horse. There was a pious stillness and humour in each of them. He was delighted as well as frightened. 

Question 4 Why does the narrator mention uncle Khosrove ? Which characteristic features of the man are highlighted?

Ans- The narrator mentioned Uncle Khosrove as it can be concluded that Mourad has inherited some of the qualities of his uncle. Uncle Khosrove was a man who was irritable, impatient and furious in nature. He stopped anyone from talking or discussing anything by saying his famous phrase “ it is no harm, pay no attention to it.

Question 5- How did Aram, the narrator, fare in his solo ride?

Ans- Aram leaped to the back of the horse, but it did not move. Then he kicked into the muscles of the horse. It reared and snorted. Then it began to run. Aram did know how to ride. The horse ran down the road to a vineyard; it leaped over seven vines, threw the rider and ran away.
